The Educational Theatre Association Hall of Fame Award 

Nominate a Member of EdTA for the Educational Theatre Association’s Hall of Fame Award.

The Hall of Fame Award recognizes a maximum of five individuals annually who have dedicated themselves to the cause of theatre education.

Eligibility:
Any member of EdTA (Thespian troupe director, emeritus, or other professional member) who has twenty years of service or more is eligible to apply or be nominated for this award. Award winners must attend the EdTA National Conference.

Each recipient of the Hall of Fame Award will receive:

  • complimentary dues for the next school year (either troupe dues or professional membership fee)
  • complimentary basic registration for the EdTA National Conference,
  • recognition on the Hall of Fame plaque displayed at the EdTA National Office,
  • an award to be presented as part of the Hall of Fame dinner at the EdTA National Conference,
  • a personalized Hall of Fame medallion suitable for wearing at formal EdTA functions,
  • two complimentary tickets to the Hall of Fame dinner,
  • and a press release announcing the recipient’s induction into the Hall of Fame, which will be sent to his or her local paper.


Nominations must be received by the February 1 deadline. 

Recipients will be notified in April.
