Jhon Marshall / International Thespian Officers' Outstanding Student Achievement Scholarship

The Jhon Marshall / ITO Outstanding Student Achievement Scholarships were developed by the International Thespian Officers (ITO) to recognize those students who exemplify the ideals of the International Thespian Society (ITS). The scholarships will be paid directly to the college or university.

Each applicant MUST complete the following in Academic Works:
• The AcademicWorks General and Student Conditional Application (Including the necessary H.S. transcript and Troupe Director letters)
• This application and it’s supplemental questions.

Finalists are chosen based on originality of service, contributions of talent/service to the positive image and ideals of the International Thespian Society and theatre education, and benefit of service to productions, program, school, community, and/or peers.

Finalists will be interviewed by the ITO by phone prior to selecting the scholarship recipients.

Recipients will receive a plaque and a $1,000 college scholarship to be presented on the main stage at the International Thespian Festival (ITF). ITF attendance is not a scholarship requirement.

The Deadline for submission is April 1.

This scholarship is for an inducted Thespian of the International Thespian Society (ITS), the student honorary organization of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA).
